Rahul Gandhi Criticizes Modi Over NEET-UG Exam Irregularities

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi over alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG medical entrance exam, affecting around 24 lakh students. Gandhi promised to be their voice in Parliament and demand a high-level investigation under the Supreme Court's supervision.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has taken a strong stance against Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi, accusing him of overlooking alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG medical entrance exam. The issue has reportedly distressed over 24 lakh students even before Modi's official oath-taking ceremony for his new term in office.

In a firm commitment to the youth, Gandhi assured students nationwide that he would advocate for them in Parliament, particularly concerning their future prospects. Amid allegations of mark inflation in the NEET-UG, the National Testing Agency (NTA) disclosed a four-member panel set up by the education ministry to review the grace marks awarded to over 1,500 candidates.

Gandhi's critique on X (formerly known as Twitter) also pointed to six students from a single exam center achieving maximum marks, which raised suspicions of a paper leak—a claim the government has continuously denied. The Congress has called for a high-level, Supreme Court-supervised investigation into the matter, accusing the BJP of compromising young futures.
