Capgemini and NSEZ Launch Innovate Skilling Center in Uttar Pradesh

Capgemini, in alliance with Noida SEZ, has inaugurated an advanced Skilling Center in Uttar Pradesh. The facility aims to provide digital literacy and advanced tech training to marginalized communities, focusing on AI, robotics, and fintech. The initiative targets youths and women in particular, promoting enhanced employability and digital inclusion.

Capgemini, in partnership with the Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ), has introduced a pioneering integrated Center of Excellence in Skilling in Uttar Pradesh. This state-of-the-art facility offers a range of resources such as classrooms, a computer lab, a counseling area, and a STEM lab outfitted with technologies pertinent to coding, tinkering, and robotics.

The primary objective of this collaboration is to promote skill development and digital literacy among India's unemployed and vulnerable youth. Capgemini will offer a variety of specialized courses in advanced technologies, including AI and Machine Learning, to 1,000 young individuals annually. Notably, the effort focuses on marginalized communities, aiming for digital inclusion and improved employability in the IT, ITeS, and Fintech sectors.

Capgemini India CEO Ashwin Yardi remarked, 'We believe technology can revolutionize societies. This initiative will equip marginalized youths with digital skills, boosting career prospects and preparing them for opportunities in a technology-driven world.' The center will provide Capgemini certification and live industry projects, catering to career development and even entrepreneurial ventures.
