IIT Delhi Expands Horizon with Abu Dhabi Campus Offering UG Courses

IIT Delhi's Abu Dhabi campus will begin offering two undergraduate courses in Computer Science Engineering and Energy Engineering starting September. Admission will be through JEE (Advanced) and a new Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET). The campus plans to engage in research, innovation, and industry partnerships soon.

In a significant expansion, IIT Delhi's Abu Dhabi campus will initiate two undergraduate courses from September, as announced by Director Rangan Banerjee on Thursday.

The offshore campus, which opened in 2023 and currently offers only postgraduate programs, will introduce courses in Computer Science Engineering and Energy Engineering.

A thorough selection process will admit 60 students via JEE (Advanced) and the newly established Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET), with reserved seats for UAE nationals, expatriates, and international students.
