Andhra Pradesh Mega Teacher Recruitment Drive Announced by CM Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday declared an ambitious plan to recruit 16,347 teachers through the District Selection Committee examination, commencing in early April. The announcement came during the third Collectors' Conference at the Secretariat.
Naidu stressed the importance of finalising teacher appointments before schools reopen in June, alongside necessary training. The recruitment could include Scheduled Castes sub-categorisation under A, B, C, and D categories, pending feedback from key stakeholders regarding a report by Rajiv Ranjan Mishra.
Highlighting the pillars of welfare, development, and governance, Naidu tasked district collectors with conducting the examination efficiently. He also called for securing approvals for infrastructure projects valuing Rs 55,000 crore and achieving a 15% growth rate. Naidu emphasised eradicating poverty and executing the Swarna Andhra-2047 Vision.
