Girls Shine in CBSE 12th Exams with Stellar Performance
Girls outperform boys in the CBSE class 12 exams, with a higher pass percentage. While less students scored above 90%, overall pass rates rose. Transgender students achieved perfect scores, and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas had the highest school pass rate. Regional and international school results varied.

In the CBSE class 12 board exams, girls have outshone boys by more than five percentage points, marking a significant achievement. According to the board's Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, the number of students scoring above 90 percent, however, saw a slight decline from the previous year.
This year, 88.39 percent of candidates cleared the exams, up marginally from last year's 87.98 percent. An impressive 91.64 percent of girls and 85.70 percent of boys passed the examination. Notably, transgender candidates achieved a perfect pass rate, doubling last year's 50 percent.
In terms of school performance, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas led with a 99.9 percent pass rate, while private schools lagged at 87.94 percent. The Vijaywada region recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.60 percent, while Prayagraj had the lowest at 79.53 percent. Foreign schools reported a slight decrease in pass rates.
