In line with the fifth anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP), the Ministry of Education introduced various initiatives aimed at enhancing educational resources and opportunities across the country. Among these launches were a web-based local language proficiency test portal, an encyclopaedic dictionary of Sanskrit, and a career advisor app.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) on Tuesday, a significant platform for stakeholders to evaluate NEP 2020's progress and forward planning. Concurrently, Letters of Intent were awarded to four prestigious universities from the UK and Australia to open campuses in India, fostering global educational collaborations.
The day was marked by several critical launches and discussions focused on language usage in education, advancing research, and innovative technologies. These efforts underline India's commitment to educational development and international cooperation in academia, aiming for pivotal transformations in the sector.
