Transforming Campus Politics: Delhi University Leads by Example

The DUSU elections witness a new era with stringent security, clean campaigns, guided by the Lyngdoh Committee's anti-defacement norms. Over 2.8 lakh students are voting, choosing among candidates backed by major student unions. Judicial oversight and student optimism mark the election's transformative process.

Amid heightened security, students are actively participating in the Delhi University Students' Union elections. Over 600 police personnel, drones, and CCTV are deployed, ensuring a smooth voting process for more than 2.8 lakh eligible voters.

This year's election features three prominent student groups: ABVP backed by Aryan Maan, NSUI represented by Joslyn Nandita Choudhary, and Anjali, contesting for the SFI-AISA alliance. Notably, the campus remains clean, abiding by the Lyngdoh Committee's anti-defacement guidelines, marking a significant shift from previous years.
