Adani Group Launches Scholarship for IIM Calcutta: A Boost for Future Leaders

The Adani Group announced a new scholarship program at IIM Calcutta on Monday, aimed at nurturing leadership talent and enhancing collaboration between industry and academia.
The Adani Accelerated Leadership Program (AALP) was launched following an MoU with IIM Calcutta, supporting six MBA students annually, with a total endowment of Rs 1.62 crore over two years. The funding will be provided in two Rs 81 lakh tranches, contingent on student performance.
IIM Calcutta's Dean, Prof. Sumanta Basu, praised the partnership for aligning focuses on leadership and research. Meanwhile, Adani Group's Subhashrie R. Venkatraj highlighted the scholarship's goal of nurturing future talent. Students interacted with Adani leaders at the event, reinforcing the group's role in talent and organizational development.
