Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh has made a strategic move towards fostering international collaborations, as he tours Australia inviting Griffith University to set up an India Centre in the state. This initiative aims to promote joint research, student exchanges, and academic collaborations to enhance global education prospects.
On his visit, Lokesh engaged in discussions with Griffith University's Vice President (Global) Marnie Watson about potential partnerships in dual degrees, curriculum co-design, and skill certification. He also advocated for collaboration between the university, Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation, and other leading institutions in the region.
During his multi-faceted tour, Lokesh highlighted the state's robust investment atmosphere at a business roundtable, pitching Andhra Pradesh as a prime investment destination. Moreover, he underscored the state's commitment to education reform with plans for an AI-centric curriculum and advanced research collaborations with Australian universities.
