Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has firmly dismissed allegations of internal conflict within the Left Democratic Front (LDF) concerning the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) initiative and new labour codes.
Addressing reporters, Vijayan clarified that despite the Communist Party of India's (CPI) opposition, which led to the state's hold on the PM SHRI scheme, there remains unanimity among LDF members.
The Chief Minister underscored Kerala's success in renovating over 2,000 schools without dependency on central government support while warning that non-implementation of PM SHRI could jeopardize the state's eligibility for central funds.
