Protests Erupt Over NEET-UG 2026 Cancellation

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad staged a protest outside the NTA office in Delhi against the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2026, citing paper leaks and irregularities. A protest led by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad took place on Wednesday outside the NTA office in Delhi, fueled by the controversial cancellation of NEET-UG 2026. Allegations of paper leaks and irregularities sparked demands for stringent measures against those responsible.

Chanting slogans against the National Testing Agency (NTA), the demonstrators insisted on greater transparency in the examination process. The protest saw attempts by participants to enter the NTA premises and surmount the police barricades erected on-site.

The situation was tightly controlled as Delhi Police, along with the Rapid Action Force (RAF), ensured robust security presence to maintain order. “No one will be allowed to breach the law and order situation,” stated a senior police officer, reiterating the commitment to public safety.
