Nationwide Outrage: NEET-UG Paper Leak Sparks Student Protests

Amidst growing anger and frustration, students and organizations in the national capital have escalated their protests against the cancellation of the NEET-UG examination, following allegations of a paper leak.
Protestors gathered outside the National Testing Agency's office, expressing their discontent and demanding accountability from authorities. A spokesperson for the Association of Students for Alternative Politics (ASAP) criticized the current administration for repeated examination mishaps, claiming it was the fourth or fifth such incident under BJP's regime.
Additional protests, led by the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union, were organized at Jantar Mantar. Protesters displayed signs and vocalized demands, including the removal of the Union Education Minister. In response to the backlash, the NTA announced the rescheduling of the NEET-UG 2026 exam.
