The event was attended by Minister of State in the PMO Jitendra Singh, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister P K Mishra, and several senior officers, all taking part in a communal yoga session.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the day from Srinagar, emphasizing yoga as a powerful agent for global good. He highlighted its ability to help individuals live in the present, free from the burdens of the past.
In an official post on X, the PMO reiterated the participation of key officials and underscored this year's theme, 'Yoga for Self and Society.' The theme aimed to promote both personal and societal well-being through the practice of yoga.
