TOIFA 2023: Celebrating The Best in Hindi Entertainment

The Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) event held on July 27 in Mumbai honored exceptional achievements in the Hindi entertainment sector, with a special focus on web films and series released in 2023. Winners expressed their excitement and gratitude in exclusive interviews with ANI.
Manoj Bajpayee, awarded for Best Actor in 'Sirf Ek Banda Kaafir Hai,' shared his elation. 'You feel good, you feel happy that you got it for your hard work and for the hard work on behalf of the entire team and the film that we've done. Such an important film in the time that we are living in,' he said.
Vijay Varma, who clinched the award for Acting Excellence in a Negative Role for 'Dahaad,' expressed his joy. 'I'm feeling fabulous, getting another award for 'Dahaad.' When experienced filmmakers recognize your work, it's always very special,' he noted.
Babil Khan, winner of Best Supporting Actor (Male) for 'The Railway Men,' remarked on his surprise and delight. 'It feels very good. I asked my mother today if I will win and she said no. I won. And I'll go home now and show my mother this award and I am hoping that my mother will be happy,' he shared.
TOIFA celebrated talent across multiple categories, including acting, content creation, and technical prowess, recognizing contributions to digital storytelling in the Indian film industry. Other key winners included Sonakshi Sinha for Best Actress in 'Dahaad,' and Suvinder Pal Vicky for Best Actor (Male) in 'Kohraa.' 'Jubilee' secured awards in Costume Design, Casting Ensemble, Writing, and Drama Series of the Year. Shahid Kapoor won Best Male Actor in a Web Series for 'Farzi.'
