Truth has triumphed with the Supreme Court granting bail to Manish Sisodia, who had been held in jail for 17 months on allegedly false charges, the AAP announced on Friday. The party expressed hope that other jailed leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, will also receive justice.

AAP leader and Delhi Education Minister Atishi expressed her joy on X with the phrase 'Satyamev Jayate' after the ruling. Sisodia had been detained for his involvement in the alleged Delhi excise policy scam and was finally granted bail by the Supreme Court, citing the lack of a speedy trial.

During a school inauguration in Dwarka, Atishi broke down while welcoming the verdict, highlighting Sisodia's contributions to Delhi's education system. Celebrations broke out at AAP offices following the verdict, with party members distributing sweets and dancing to dhol beats.
