Prime Minister Modi Visits Landslide-Hit Wayanad District

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Wayanad district in Kerala, which has been severely impacted by recent landslides. During the visit, Modi interacted with rescue teams, victims, and survivors. He also chaired a detailed review meeting on the relief efforts. The disaster claimed 226 lives with many still missing.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kerala on Saturday to assess the damage caused by landslides in the Wayanad district.

Modi landed at the international airport around 11 am and quickly departed by helicopter to the affected areas. During his visit, he will engage with rescue teams and inspect the ongoing relief operations.

Upon arrival in Wayanad, Modi will meet with landslide victims and survivors at a relief camp and hospital. The Prime Minister will also chair a review meeting to further discuss the incident and subsequent relief initiatives.
