Prime Minister Modi Surveys Landslide-Ravaged Wayanad
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the heavily landslide-affected areas in Wayanad, Kerala. He conducted an aerial survey and trekked through the disaster zone. Accompanied by state officials, he assessed the damage and interacted with rescue teams. The landslides have resulted in significant loss of life and property.

In a bid to gauge the extent of damage caused by recent landslides, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday visited Wayanad district in Kerala. Traversing through the severely impacted Chooralmala, Modi sought a firsthand look at the devastation that unfolded on July 30.
The Prime Minister, who reached the district by helicopter from Kannur airport, walked through the afflicted regions and conducted a thorough assessment of the damage. His visit also included an aerial survey covering Chooralmala, Mundakkai, and Punchirimattam hamlets.
Accompanied by Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, and Union Minister Suresh Gopi, Modi interacted with rescue personnel and state officials. The calamity has claimed 226 lives, with over 130 people still missing.
