The 'Jawan' actor delighted a large and enthusiastic crowd as they sang 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' in unison, joining in and earning cheers from attendees. On August 10, Khan made history as the first Indian personality to receive the festival's prestigious lifetime achievement award, Pardo alla Carriera, or Career Leopard.
During the event, Khan left the audience in awe with his signature charm. Dressed in a sleek black blazer and matching trousers, his dapper look and long hair added to his appeal. His speech drew constant cheers and emotional reactions, with the Locarno Film Festival's Instagram flooded with his pictures and videos.
Beginning his speech, Khan humorously acknowledged the warm reception. 'Thank you all for welcoming me with such wide arms - wider than the ones I do on screen,' he quipped, referencing his famous pose. Khan reflected on cinema's profound influence and his 35-year journey, sharing that he has learned valuable lessons.
