According to informed sources, a homeless man entered the female crew member's hotel room and assaulted her. Nearby individuals came to her rescue when she shouted, and the intruder was apprehended.
Conflicting sources indicate whether the assault was sexual or physical, but the incident occurred at a star hotel near London Heathrow airport. The assaulted crew member has since returned to India and is receiving counselling.
The incident has led to internal complaints among airline employees about safety concerns, including unavailable hotel staff at night and lax access controls.
