Prime Minister Narendra Modi's historic visit to Poland, the first by an Indian prime minister in 45 years, seeks to strengthen bilateral relations through top-level discussions with Polish leadership on various subjects, according to India's ambassador to Poland, Nagma Mohamed Mallick.

During his two-day trip, Modi will engage in talks with President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The visit, considered highly significant, will address multiple geopolitical developments and cultural exchanges while emphasizing India's growing trade relationship with Poland. Mallick noted that trade turnover between the two countries stands at USD 6 billion, with Indian investment in Poland amounting to USD 3 billion.

Additionally, Modi's visit will touch on the Polish people's admiration for India's cultural contributions, including yoga, Ayurveda, and Sanskrit literature. The prime minister's engagements will further explore avenues for enhancing economic cooperation and cultural understanding between the two nations.
