Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon pay an official visit to Singapore, as announced by Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan. The announcement follows a productive high-level meeting between senior ministers from India and Singapore aimed at strengthening strategic ties.
Indian ministers, including Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, participated in the second India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR) to discuss mutual interests and bilateral cooperation.
Key discussion points included advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, aviation, and maritime connectivity, setting the stage for Prime Minister Modi's upcoming visit. Additionally, both countries are keen to collaborate on digital innovation, healthcare, sustainability, and skill development, enhancing the longstanding strategic partnership.
