Tragic Drowning Incident in Parvati River During Family Visit
A 22-year-old man drowned and his 11-year-old nephew went missing after they ventured into Parvati river in Madhya Pradesh. The family was visiting a temple to pray for a paralysed relative. Teams are still searching for the boy.

A 22-year-old man drowned on Friday and his nephew went missing in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh, an official reported.
The incident unfolded when Arun Ahirwar, aged 11, and Deepak Ahirwar, aged 22, entered the Parvati river in Bajranggarh following a temple visit with their family. They were praying for the recovery of a paralysed family member, said sub-inspector Neetu Mabai of the State Disaster Emergency Response Force (SDERF).
Arun slipped into deep water and Deepak attempted to rescue him, but both disappeared. Deepak's body was found after hours of searching. Police and SDERF teams are still at the scene, continuing the search for the missing boy.
