The film industry witnessed a landmark moment as 'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva' emerged as a major victor at the 70th National Awards 2024. The acclaimed film, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, was honored with the Best Film in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects Gaming and Comic), solidifying its place in cinematic history.

Producer Karan Johar and director Ayan Mukerji received the coveted award from the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, in a prestigious ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan. This recognition underscores the film's extraordinary achievements in visual storytelling and its significant contribution to Indian cinema.

Awards also hailed Arijit Singh as Best Male Playback Singer for 'Kesariya', and composer Pritam for Best Music Director (Songs).
