The Maharashtra Cyber Department is also probing these comments, which have incited widespread outrage across the nation.

Comedian Samay Raina, currently in the United States, has been asked to cooperate with the investigation in connection with the same show, 'India's Got Latent.' Despite Allahbadia’s initial reluctance citing media fears, authorities insist that evasion of questioning is non-negotiable.

The Mumbai Police and the cyber cell are conducting separate inquiries into the contentious video that led to a political stir, with debates reaching parliament. Allahbadia, with over 16 million followers, later apologized for what he called a 'lapse in judgement.' Meanwhile, the case has also drawn attention from law enforcement agencies outside the state.
