Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has set an ambitious agenda to propel the development of spiritual and eco-tourism in the state, emphasizing the creation of ample employment opportunities. The announcement came during the inauguration and foundation-laying ceremonies for development projects valued at Rs 1,622 crores.
Addressing a gathering at Rajendra Giri Memorial Stadium in Gola Gokarnath, Lakhimpur Kheri, Adityanath highlighted the district's remarkable transformation from a previously lagging region to one poised for substantial growth. Initiatives were outlined for flood prevention, river channelization, and infrastructural developments, including the region's first bioplastic manufacturing plant.
The chief minister also announced the launch of a medical college and praised Prime Minister Modi's efforts to promote Tharu tribal products. The event witnessed the presence of notable figures including Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh and Excise Minister Nitin Agarwal, signaling strong governmental support for ongoing development projects.
