The remains of First Officer Clive Kunder, the co-pilot of the ill-fated Air India flight that crashed in Ahmedabad, were brought to his home in Mumbai on Thursday. Officials confirmed that following the tragic accident, the remains were flown to Mumbai for final rites.

Kunder, who was living with his parents and sister, will be laid to rest at the Sewri Christian Cemetery after a public homage at his Goregaon residence. The airplane crash in Ahmedabad led to the death of 271 individuals, including passengers, crew, and others on the ground.

The flight, under Captain Sumeet Sabharwal, experienced a critical emergency shortly after take-off. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed into a nearby medical complex, raising questions about aviation safety and emergency responses. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
