Delhi CM Celebrates Rakshabandhan with Sanitation Workers

In a heartwarming gesture, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta celebrated Rakshabandhan with sanitation workers on Friday, offering gifts and sweets during an event at the Mukhya Mantri Jansewa Sadan in Civil Lines.
The chief minister personally tied ''rakhi'' on the wrists of the workers, marking the first time this traditional festival was used as a platform to honor those in the sanitation sector.
''This is the first time someone thought about sanitation workers and gave them respect by celebrating the festival with them,'' said Rajni, a sanitation worker from Sarai Rohilla, expressing gratitude for the recognition and honor bestowed by Gupta.
