India marked a significant milestone by hosting the 20th session of UNESCO's Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage at New Delhi's Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This marks India's first time hosting this prestigious global panel.
During the opening ceremony, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stressed the importance of preserving and promoting intangible cultural heritage.
