Kerala Hosts Inaugural Indian Cultural Congress: Celebrating Diversity and Creativity

In a significant cultural event, Kerala is set to host the first-ever Indian Cultural Congress from December 20 to 22, 2025, in Ernakulam. The congress will spotlight India's rich cultural diversity, highlighting dialogue and exchange across multiple artistic disciplines.
The three-day gathering, supported by the Department of Culture, Government of Kerala, will feature an expansive program of panel discussions, performances, and exhibitions. In attendance will be distinguished personalities, including renowned filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan and poet Ashok Vajpeyi.
A key focus this year is on elevating marginalized voices, while also promoting global cultural solidarity. The event will culminate with a valedictory ceremony, inaugurated by iconic actor Mammootty, who will be honored for his contributions to cinema and culture. Registration is open globally.
