The fair aims to boost the economic fortunes of local weavers and artisans, as emphasized by State Textiles and Handicrafts Minister Pradeep Bal Samant.
Singh Deo underscored the government's dedication to enhancing livelihoods within this vibrant sector. A noteworthy feature of the event was the felicitation of 12 artisans for their contributions. Furthermore, pivotal Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed to drive innovation and collaboration.
The fair, which runs until February 26, showcases 905 stalls with participants from 20 states, highlighting the scale and diversity of Odisha's commitment to sustaining and growing its handloom and handicraft legacy.
