Large quantity of Indian made foreign liquor seized while transporting

A large quantity of Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL) being transported illegally from Punjab to Gujarat was today recovered from two tankers in the district, police said here today.

The value of the seized liquor is approximately Rs 1 crore, SP Bikaner Sawai Singh Godara said.

"The trucks were checked at a check post under Nal police station area in the wee hours in which the liquor was recovered," SHO Nal police station Dharm Punia said.

Three persons identified as Sahab Ram, Sahiram, and Badu Ram, have been arrested in connection with the liquor smuggling, he added.
