Geopolitical tension means more structural measures needed for energy market - Italy minister

Recent geopolitical developments have accelerated the need for further structural interventions on the energy market, Italy's energy transition minister said on Wednesday. Speaking at the Chamber of Deputies, Roberto Cingolani also said he expected gas prices to remain high and thought it was "very unlikely" they would return to levels of a year ago.
He added Italy's gas storage levels in February matched those normally seen at the end of March.
