Danish DFDS clarifies Baltic Sea ferry suffering from technical snag, not fire

A ferry in the Baltic Sea has a technical problem but is not on fire, a representative of Danish DFDS ferry operator said on Tuesday, after Lithuania's military said the ship carrying 335 people was on fire following an explosion in the engine room.

She added that the ferry would be towed to the Lithuanian port town of Klaipeda.
