A petrol bomb was hurled at the residence of a BJP woman functionary near Teppakulam in this city Friday by some miscreants, slightly damaging a car, police said.
No one was injured in the attack on the residence of A R Mahalakshmi, they said. A neighbour, who heard the noise, alerted the woman, who rushed out of her house and doused the flames, police said.
Mahalakshmi claimed that some people were scared of BJP's growth in the state and were trying to scare the party functionaries by resorting to such attacks.
