Luhansk Under Siege: Second Night of Explosions Rocks the City

Reports indicate residents heard two explosions, with suspicions that the recent strike hit the area where rescue teams were dealing with prior missile attack damages.

The Russian-held city of Luhansk in eastern Ukraine came under a second night-time attack, a Russian Foreign Ministry official said early on Tuesday.

Rodion Miroshnik, a special ambassador for the ministry, said residents of the city had heard two explosions.

"It cannot be ruled out that the repeat strike occurred at the site where rescue teams are dealing with the aftermath of the previous missile attack," Miroshnik wrote on Telegram.
