In a landmark collaboration, Luminous Power Technologies has teamed up with the Energy Swaraj Foundation to champion the cause of clean energy in India. The partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by Preeti Bajaj, CEO of Luminous, and Professor Chetan Singh Solanki of the Energy Swaraj Foundation, is a proactive step towards combating climate change and supporting India’s net-zero emissions journey.
The initiative will kick off with the 'Wrinkles Achhe Hain' campaign, encouraging individuals to wear non-ironed clothes on Mondays to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprints. Launched around World Environment Day, this campaign symbolizes a broader commitment to environmental sustainability and community awareness.
Luminous has also inaugurated a state-of-the-art Solar Panel Factory in Uttarakhand, contributing to national solar vision and sustainability goals. Through various environmental initiatives like Project LIFE and sustainable manufacturing practices, Luminous strives to promote conservation and circularity. The collaboration with Energy Swaraj Foundation underscores their dedication to making impactful environmental contributions.
