Karnataka BJP Alleges Congress Scams, Demands CM's Resignation

Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra has leveled serious allegations against the Congress High Command, accusing them of treating Karnataka as an 'ATM' to fund elections in other states. Vijayendra has demanded the immediate resignation of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah following the alleged scam involving the Karnataka Maharishi Valmiki Corporation Board.

"Day by day, new information is surfacing, especially after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) took over the investigation. Today, it came to light that funds were allegedly used to purchase liquor in neighboring states during Lok Sabha elections. The Congress government is trying to divert attention from this issue," Vijayendra stated. The BJP held a protest at Freedom Park in response to these allegations.

The controversy pertains to the supposed illegal transfer of funds from the Maharshi Valmiki ST Corporation, which is responsible for welfare programs for scheduled tribe members. Additionally, Vijayendra criticized the Karnataka government for retracting a draft bill on quotas for Kannadigas in the private sector, questioning the seriousness of CM Siddaramaiah's commitment to protecting Kannadiga interests.
