PM Modi Highlights Tiger Conservation Efforts in 'Mann Ki Baat'

Modi highlighted the 'Kulhadi Band Panchayat' initiative in Ranthambore, Rajasthan, where locals pledged to stop deforestation, significantly revitalizing the region's forests and tiger habitat. Similarly, he commended the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra, where tribes like Gond and Mana have advanced eco-tourism efforts.

The Prime Minister also recognized the Chenchu tribe in Andhra Pradesh and the ‘Baagh Mitr Karykram’ in Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit, stressing how community involvement is driving tiger conservation. He concluded by noting India's success in increasing both its tiger population and forest areas, showcased by the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' program in Indore.
