Originally set to conclude on August 12, the session wrapped up on August 9 after a series of productive discussions. The customary post-adjournment tea meeting was held in Speaker Om Birla's chamber.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's exchanges marked a rare moment of bipartisanship. Traditionally, the Lok Sabha Speaker invites floor leaders of all political parties for a tea meeting after both Houses adjourn sine die. In this relaxed setting, Rahul Gandhi inquired about the Ukraine situation, to which Defence Minister Rajnath Singh assured that India is closely monitoring developments.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla highlighted the session's proceedings, noting 15 sittings over 115 hours. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget for 2024-25 on July 23, which was deliberated for 27 hours and 19 minutes. Birla noted that 12 government bills were introduced, with four passed by the Lok Sabha, reaching a productivity rate of 136 percent.

An opposition member raised concerns over the crisis in Bangladesh and inquired about former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's whereabouts, but the government did not provide a clear response. Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar highlighted the Upper House's achievements, mentioning 22 hours of discussion on the Union Budget and 90 total hours during the session.
