In response to allegations of 'exploitation in Congress' by former leader Simi Rose Bell John, BJP's Rajeev Chandrasekhar criticized the Congress for its inaction on women's safety within the party. Chandrasekhar accused Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi of making empty promises about women's safety before elections without taking actual steps afterward.

'This is a very shameful example of what the Congress really is,' Chandrasekhar stated. 'The Congress party talks about protecting women's rights before elections, but fails to act on such issues within their own ranks post-elections. The complaint by a woman leader in Kerala remains uninvestigated, revealing the true colors of the Congress.'

Chandrasekhar highlighted that Simi Rose Bell John's allegations of harassment and exploitation were ignored, and she was dismissed from the party for raising the issue. 'When a woman in the workplace raises an issue of harassment, it is the organization's duty to investigate. But the Congress silences her instead,' he added. Meanwhile, Kerala Congress Chief K Sudhakaran confirmed that the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee will investigate derogatory remarks made by Simi Rose Bell John about Congress women leaders.
