The Border Security Force (BSF) successfully seized 1.180 kilogrammes of suspected heroin on Monday, following a rapid-response search operation in Amritsar district's border area.
Based on reliable intelligence, the BSF troops launched a comprehensive search at around 5:30 PM, uncovering two packets wrapped with yellow adhesive tape and secured with steel rings.
The operation took place in a farming field close to Daoke village, effectively preventing another potential smuggling attempt.
