Scooty Accident: Noida Girl and Rescuers Saved from Elevated Road Pillar

A young girl on a scooty hit by an unidentified vehicle near Noida Sector 25 and landed on an elevated road pillar. Rescued by police and fire teams, she and two men who attempted to rescue her were sent to the hospital. The police have impounded the vehicle.

A young girl riding a scooty collided with an unidentified vehicle and landed on the pillar of an elevated road near Noida Sector 25 on Saturday. She was later rescued by teams of the Police and Fire department, Noida police reported. The two men who attempted to rescue her were also evacuated and sent to the hospital.

The incident occurred in the area under the jurisdiction of Sector 20 Police Station. Visuals from the scene depicted the girl and her rescuers stranded on the pillar until help arrived. A crane was deployed to aid in the rescue; the men lifted the girl and assisted her. 'We saw the girl falling and came to her rescue. Police saved us, they called an ambulance,' recounted Janarul, one of the rescuers.

ADCP Manish Kumar Mishra explained, 'A girl was traveling from Noida to Ghaziabad when her scooty met with an accident, causing her to land on the base of the elevated road pillar. Police and Fire rescue teams arrived promptly. The girl was safely rescued and sent to the hospital by ambulance. The two men who were there to help her were also assisted and sent to the hospital. The vehicle, identified as a WagonR, has been impounded. We will question the girl about the incident for further action,' he added.
