PM Modi's Transformative Varanasi Visit: Unveiling Rs 6,100 Crore Projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated development projects worth Rs 6,100 crores during his visit to Varanasi, showcasing initiatives across education, health, and tourism sectors to boost employment. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised these efforts as transformative for Varanasi, preserving its cultural heritage while embracing modern facilities.

During a significant visit to his home constituency of Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled development initiatives valued at Rs 6,100 crore. Highlighting the event, Modi emphasized the multifaceted projects designed to bolster facilities and generate new employment opportunities for local youth, marking a pivotal moment for the region.

The Prime Minister inaugurated a major healthcare facility, the RJ Shankara Eye Hospital, which is poised to offer essential services to both elderly and younger residents. In his address, Modi announced multiple airport inaugurations across northern India and underscored comprehensive developmental strides in education, skill training, sports, and tourism.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, present at the event, hailed Modi as a leader of 'New India', asserting that the Prime Minister's efforts have globally showcased Varanasi's blend of spiritual heritage and modern transformation. Adityanath cited Rs 44,000 crores in sanctioned projects over the past decade, with ongoing investments further enhancing the city's growth narrative.
