The Indian Dairy sector is set to receive a significant boost with the 'Inter Dairy Expo 2024' organized by VA Exhibitions in collaboration with the India Dairy Association's West Zone. Scheduled for December 5-7 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, the Expo will present the entire dairy industry value chain.
Currently leading global milk production, India's dairy market is thriving, with production at a record 230.58 million metric tons in 2023-24, valued at approximately USD 125 billion. Analysts predict a steady annual growth rate of about 9%, reaching USD 230 billion by 2030, aided by government support and the adoption of new technologies.
In addition to presenting cutting-edge innovations, the Expo emphasizes the industry's social impact. The dairy sector supports over 80 million rural households, predominantly women, fostering economic and social empowerment. The event will also feature seminars and discussions on global market opportunities, and honor excellence through the Inter Dairy Awards 2024.
