The Goa government has announced a strategic overhaul in its agricultural landscape with the launch of the 'Goa State Amritkal Agriculture Policy 2025.'
Unveiled by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, the policy underscores organic farming, urban agriculture, and the introduction of agro-tourism.
It further provides financial subsidies for cultivating high-value crops aimed at boosting the state's agricultural economy, while supporting farmers through welfare funds and enhanced credit facilities.
