In a significant move, energy giant Chevron is investing $1 billion to launch an engineering and innovation center in Bengaluru, India, marking its largest such facility outside the United States. The Chevron Engineering and Innovation Excellence Center (ENGINE) aims to harness India's abundant engineering talent to support Chevron's global operations.
The center, known as ENGINE, is set to employ 600 staff by 2025 and will focus on advanced technologies, including digital twins, AI, and robotics.
