Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has brushed off a recent death threat with remarkable calm, declaring such intimidations part of his political journey. On Friday, Shinde reminded the media of the numerous threats he endured, notably during the crackdown on dance bars.

Referencing past encounters with danger, Shinde revealed threats to his life were not uncommon, recalling incidents involving Naxalites. Despite these, he boldly pushed forward the first industrial project in Gadchiroli. Recently, an anonymous threat to bomb his vehicle surfaced, prompting police investigations into similar threats received at Mantralaya and JJ Marg Police Station.

Flaunting his political resilience, Shinde warned against underestimating him, referencing his pivotal role in government changes and electoral success, while asserting his connection to Bala Saheb's legacy. Mumbai police have apprehended two suspects from Buldhana, Mangesh Achyutrao Wayal and Abhay Gajanan Shingane, in relation to the email threats.
