The Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) spokesperson, Priyanka Kakkar, launched a scathing critique of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday, challenging the party's commitment to its electoral vows, particularly the Rs 2,500 financial aid promise for Delhi women. Kakkar accused the BJP of imposing its political agenda rather than concentrating on its pledges, as the ruling party gears up to present the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report on February 25 during the initial session of the Legislative Assembly.

Kakkar emphasized that the BJP should engage in forward-looking politics and focus on the promises they made to Delhi's citizens, rather than imposing their agenda. She highlighted the BJP's failure to initiate their promised schemes in the first cabinet meeting and drew a contrast with AAP's track record of fulfilling commitments promptly after assuming power.

Highlighting past unmet promises in Haryana and Maharashtra, Kakkar urged the BJP to prioritize the welfare of Delhi's residents. Notably, BJP MLA Vijender Gupta confirmed that the session is scheduled for February 24, 25, and 27, with the tabling of the CAG report as a primary agenda item.
