Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently shown his government's commitment to the welfare of farmers across India. On Monday, he released the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, transferring over Rs 22,000 crore into the accounts of 9.8 crore farmers nationwide.

The event, held in Bihar, was highlighted by the inauguration of several developmental projects, a testament to the government's ongoing focus on rural development. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar joined Modi, along with numerous officials and ministers, underscoring the collaborative efforts in uplifting the agricultural sector.

Earlier, Modi acknowledged the indispensable role of farmers, or 'annadatas', in India's progress. He reaffirmed his government’s dedication to enhancing farmers' lives, stressing this commitment in a post on X in response to MyGovIndia’s thread on the social platform.
