Referring to comments by U.S. President Donald Trump about India's trade commitments, Tewari called for government clarification on the rationale behind the tariff adjustments, especially for sectors like agriculture and electric vehicles. He stressed safeguarding national interests and ensuring that foreign industries don't uniquely benefit at the cost of domestic enterprises.
